APC Vice Chairman, Lukman resigns over alleged plans to impose Ganduje as Adamu’s replacement

<p>The National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has resigned from the position.</p>, <p>Lukman’s resignation was in protest over speculations that former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, should be named APC’s National Chairman.</p>, <p>In a letter dated July 26, Lukman said the current atmosphere within APC was not in tandem with the vision of the founding fathers.</p>, <p>The letter was addressed to the APC National Working Committee, NWC-led by the acting National Chairman, Abubakar Kyari.</p>, <p>Lukman had warned APC against replacing the former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu with Ganduje.</p>, <p>He said it would be suicidal to replace Adamu with Ganduje.</p>
