As a result, the rest of the Democrats simply bowed to the pressure and removed the aid to Israel from the bill. The spending bill then promptly passed the House. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Unfortunately, “the squad” and others like them are gaining power, and may find themselves at the helm of the democratic party in the not-so-distant future. In the meantime, we should call it for what it is.
