Anger: What Happens When a Man Looses His Temper?

<p>This week we talk about lesson's learned from Christian B's experience of loosing his temper and breaking his hand after punching his solid oak front door. What are some other unhealthy ways we respond when we get angry?</li> <ul> <li>Anger</li> <li>Isolation</li> <li>Irritability</li> <li>Depression</li> <li>Trying to control every detail of your world / surroundings</li> <li>Being overly physical with your kids when you're frustrated</li> <li>Shaming your kids or wife (not controlling your language or tongue)</li> </ul> <li>Proverbs 3:5-6 - <strong>5 </strong>Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. <strong>6 </strong>In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.</li> <ul> <li>Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart</li> <li>Lean NOT on your own understanding</li> <li>In ALL your ways, acknowledge Him... and HE will direct your path (a promise)</li> </ul> <li>If we are truly being dependent on God, we would know our limit, not try to rely on our own strength and understanding and our disposition will be more in-line with Christ's and we won't loose control in our frustration and perhaps not even get angry</li> <li>When relying on our own strength and understan
