If you are having major joint problems take a look at their work.</p> <p>On today’s Brain Booster we are joined by former European Open Champion Andrew Murray as we get chance to pay tribute to the life and work of the great John Jacobs.</p> <p>Andrew played successfully on the European tour for many years and in that time he became very close to John.</p> <p>We get the opportunity today to discuss the incredible legacy from a truly remarkable man.</p> <p>John Jacobs was a great player, a pioneer in what we now know as the European Tour but above all as one of the greatest coaches of all time.</p> <p>Many of the best coaches around now such as Butch Harmon and David Leadbetter often cite John as being one of their major influences.</p> <p>So much of what he talked about back in the 1950’s and 1960’s has proven to be correct.</p> <p>He was a man way ahead of his time and a true visionary.</p> <p>In a world now drowning in technical information we discuss how John had a remarkable ability to keep things simple, practical and above all effective.</p> <p>John Jacobs was a human Trackman in the way he could diagnose what a player was doing by virtue of the ball flight.</p> <p>Andrew shares some wonderful stories about John and the fact that he was above anything else just a genuinely good person.</p> <p>He would always put the player first.</p> <p>It was always about the player and what he or she needed to do to get better and never about John showing how much knowledge he had.</p> <p>We also get the chance to go down memory lane and revisit some of Andrew’s experiences.</p> <p>He shares a fascinating story about the ingredients to his success in the European Open at Walton Heath and how one single word made all the difference to his performance.</p> <p>We also get the opportunity to talk about the great Sevvy Ballesteros and the incredible aura he had.</p> <p>Andrew relates a story of just how intimidating the great man could be.</
