Abbas felicitates Senate Leader, Bamidele at 60

Tajudeen Abbas on Friday rejoiced with the Leader of the Senate, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele on his 60th birthday.</p>, <p>Speaker Abbas described the lawmaker as a committed and patriotic Nigerian, who serves his fatherland with diligence and dedication.</p>, <p>He said the Senate Leader, who represents Ekiti Central Senatorial District, is a pillar of democracy owing to his contributions to the Legislature over the years.</p>, <p>The Speaker recalled Senator Bamidele’s days as a member of the Green Chamber, noting that the Senate Leader has distinguished himself among his peers.</p>, <p>As a lawyer and an activist, the Speaker said, Senator Bamidele remains a role model to the younger generation as he has distinguished himself in all his areas of endeavours.</p>, <p>He wished the Senate Leader many more years in good health, just as he prayed that God Almighty increases him in knowledge and wisdom in the service of Nigeria.</p>
