A Few Isolated Evening Storm Chances Today; Hot, Dry & Breezy Fri-Sun; Cooler Storm Chances Return Mon/Tue

<p>Today the upper-level ridge strengthens over the Rockies with a weak wave over energy moving of the Rockies in the afternoon and evening that could fire some isolated storms while highs top in the upper 80’s.  Tomorrow and over the weekend the upper-level ridge amplifies over the Southern and Great Plains with increasingly dry, warm, and windy conditions high climb back into the 90’s and 100’s with elevated drought and fire concerns.  Monday an upper-level trough will move over the Rockies from the northwest flattening the ridge over the area and push a cool front through the area bring back the late afternoon and evening storm chances.  </p>
