A Disaster Film Everyone Loves | Independence Day

<p>In the mid-late 90’s something that was on the minds of many was whether or not our planet and civilization was going to make it into the next millennium. With that came an increasing popularity in disaster films. What better plot line than to have the entire human race threatened by Alien invaders, whose sole purpose is to destroy humanity as we knew it. However, these aliens would run into the stopping power of the United States Air Force and their uncanny ability to string together a plan to save the planet in a mere 48 hours.
