Ennio Morricone was an Oscar winning musician who composed scores for spaghetti westerns as well as Quentin Tarantino films. In 2007 Morricone was given an honorary Oscar for his contributions to films. In 2016 Morricone won the Oscar for his scoring of the hateful 8, directed by Quentin Tarantino.
