In this episode, Jessica Ganga our Communications & Digital Media Coordinator, and Joan Banks-Smith our creative producer had the opportunity to speak with Ali Welch, mother, school teacher, and caregiver to her husband Pete who was diagnosed with traumatic brain injury as a result of a traumatic event. Ali is a former participant in one of our traumatic brain injury studies and supporter of the Foundation’s work. She talks about her caregiving role, first as a 23-year-old girlfriend and now as a wife. She also describes how she manages the daily challenges of caregiving.
