97. A Bad Day Doesn't Equal A Bad Life with Jake O'Brien

<p>This week I am joined by <b>Jake O&apos;Brien. </b>Wow, this guy has gone through some adversity but he is human just like the rest of us. </p><p>From a motorbike accident that left him in a neck brace for months and nearly took his life due to a hangman fracture in his C2 Vertebrae. This resulted in his neck being fused, but this wasn&apos;t the end. Jake soon developed throat cancer which was a whole new beast in itself.</p><p>You could imagine this would take a toll on your Mental Health and it sure did for Jake as he believed he had to wear a mask and be the strong one. This led Jake down a dark path to the point he wanted to end his life.</p><p>Grateful Jake is still here today, he shares that just because you have a bad day or bad period doesn&apos;t mean you have a bad life. Jake is now inspiring others to open up about their Mental Health, Embrace their feelings, and live life in alignment with their purpose.</p><p>I know this episode will provide so much value to you all and ​I  enjoyed this podcast.
