The story I share illustrates that Romans 2:4 is such a powerful tool and truth to live by! Romans 2:4 says “…the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” —Holy moly, and it truly works! </p> <p> </p> <p>I shared a story of this verse in action. I also shared a story about ‘Ubuntu’—“In certain regions of South Africa, when someone does something wrong, he is taken to the center of the village and surrounded by his tribe for 2 days while they speak of all the good he has done. They believe each person is good, yet sometimes we make mistakes, which is really a cry for help. They unite in this ritual to encourage the person to reconnect with his true nature. The beliefs that unity and affirmation have more power to change behavior than shame and punishment.
