857. High Cortisol and Concussion Symptoms

<p>A new study on cortisol is showing how high cortisol can give you symptoms that resemble a concussion, like a brain injury. The study has shown that high levels of cortisol can cause dizziness as if you had a head injury.</p> <p>Dr. Martin has talked previously about how stress can trigger a cortisol response. When you don't sleep, your cortisol goes up… and when your cortisol goes up, you don't sleep.
