827. Vitamin D and Hospitalization

<p>A new study out of Sweden is saying that 40 cents of vitamin D saved the cost of hospitalization by 21 days! Researchers gave one group of participants 10,000 IUs daily, and the other 2000 IUs daily. Dr. Martin shares the results of the study in today’s episode.</p> <p>Dr. Martin says if vitamin D was a pharmaceutical it would have won a Nobel prize, but because it’s a vitamin, there’s no money in it.
