80-degrees and Chances for Storms Each Day this Week; Some Locally Heavy Rain Possible; Starting Sun & Next Week Hot & Dry Wx Returns

<p>With a ridge out west and trough over the Great Lakes and upper Midwest the Tri-state region in northwest flow that will bring daily chances for showers and storms with disturbances kicking out of the Rockies and moving along a stationary front that will sitting over the area. This daily activity will be with us through Saturday and some storms will have heavy rain potential and severe weather potential.   Daytime temps will be below normal in the 80’s and at night around 60 and be more bearable than the record breaking 100-degrees heat we’ve been seeing thus far in July. </p>
