60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey: The Mobile Turkey Unit

<p>Hello to you listening in <a href="https://www.visitnorway.com/places-to-go/eastern-norway/moss/" target="_blank">Moss, Norway</a>!</p><p>Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey.</p><p>Yesterday I spent several hours with other volunteers cutting pumpkin pies into individual serving slices and placing them in eco-friendly containers. Many other hands had peeled potatoes, roasted and carved turkeys, spooned up cranberry relish, bagged rolls and butter, packaged napkins, utensils and even coffee. On Thanksgiving morning I’ll drive over to our local elementary school, getting in line to receive bags of *complete* turkey dinners to be delivered around South Whidbey.  </p><p>Each year the <a href="https://www.mobileturkeyunit.com/" target="_blank">Mobile Turkey Unit</a> exceeds the number of dinners it prepared and delivered the year before. Hundreds and hundreds.
