60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey: Seeking Language Large Enough With David Whyte

<p>Hello to you listening in <a href="https://www.clippervacations.com/magazine/langley-wa-walking-guide/" target="_blank">Langley Village, Whidbey Island, Washington</a>!</p><p>Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey and your host, Diane Wyzga.</p><p>A few cold Decembers ago a friend and I were wandering in and out of the shops in Langley Village on Whidbey enjoying Christmas decorations, holiday gift shopping and lunching as ladies do when I heard the unmistakable voice I’d been listening to since the first poem in 1990!  “<a href="https://www.facebook.com/PoetDavidWhyte/photos/faithi-want-to-write-about-faithabout-the-way-the-moon-risesover-cold-snow-night/794023120623693/" target="_blank"><i>I want to write about faith</i></a>”, he said. And there he was! I knew David Whyte made his home here on Whidbey Island and not too far from my own home.
