It’s not actually here <i>on</i> Whidbey; I just happened to <i>discover</i> it here.</p><p>Previously, no matter who told me I was determined to touch fire to see if it was hot. No matter how much my intuition said, “<i>When in doubt, don’t!</i>” I did. Over time I learned that fire is hot and my intuition is to be respected. How did I arrive at happiness?</p><p>Nasrudin was asked: What’s the secret to happiness? He replied, good judgment. Yes, well how do we get good judgment? He replied, experience. That’s well and good but how do we get experience? Ah, says Nasrudin, that would be bad judgment.</p><p>Ah ha!
