60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday: What Might Happen When You Remove Yourself From External Values?

<p>Hello to you listening in <a href="https://www.visitarvada.org/" target="_blank">Arvada, Colorado</a>!</p><p>Coming to you from <a href="https://whidbeycamanoislands.com/" target="_blank">Whidbey Island, Washington</a> this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday and your host, Diane Wyzga.</p><p>Soon I’ll be revisiting my <a href="https://followthecamino.com/en/camino-de-santiago-routes/" target="_blank">Camino deSantiago</a> pilgrimage as I do every year at this time. 5 weeks - 500 miles. One of the gifts that keeps on giving is the reminder that outside or external values do not support folks who walk the Camino. The Camino eventually begins inside the pilgrim once she decides  that she is ready to silence her fears, the voices in her head and welcome contemplation and reflection. I had to learn then and I still must keep on learning how to remove myself from outside space to pursue the rich dialogue with myself. Dialogues such as these happen on pilgrimage and wherever we claim time for ourselves.  </p><p><strong>Practical Tip</strong>: When we walk with head, heart and mind in sync we walk away from anger, fear, worry, exhaustion, frustration, fatigue and all the rest. We become aware that we’ve been going the Wrong Way for too long. It’s time to get back to walking in harmony with our internal values.
