60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday: How Can You Stop Creating When Someone Needs to Hear Your Good Words?

<p>Hello to you listening in <a href="https://www.turismevalles.com/en/population/santa-maria-de-palautordera-en/" target="_blank">Santa Maria de Palautordera, Barcelona, Spain</a>!</p><p>Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Thoughts on Thursday and your host, Diane Wyzga.</p><p>Maybe like me you have days when you ask yourself:  Why am I bothering to create? What is the point of all this effort? Who really cares?    </p><p>I can tell you this about that. Oftentimes a vendor in a store or on the phone will ask me, “<i>Will there be anything else</i>?” I like saying, “<i>Yes, I was thinking World Peace.</i>” It always gets a pause, maybe a chuckle, sometimes, “<i>I don’t know how I can help with that</i>.” But we do know, don’t we? Our acts of kindness, generosity, giving someone a hand up all go to the same end: making the world a wee bit better.</p><p>We don’t always know who our work helps or how or when; but if we create it for the good it will be of good.  </p><p>My episodes don’t hold all the answers; nor are they intended to. This much I can say: we all struggle. Our struggles are strikingly similar even though we might think we are so very different. I’ve been down with struggles before and I could be there again, although I know a way out. Meanwhile, I’m here to offer what I’ve learned in the hope that it helps you find your way out of whatever problem you are experiencing.</p><p><strong>Practical Tip</strong>: Keep on creating!
