60 Seconds for Motivate Your Monday: Taking Things Personally Is a Major Time Waster

Something someone said or did which I perceive as an insult, a slight, an affront. We hear this all this time: <i>Take nothing personally; the stuff that folks say and do by and large has nothing to do with you</i>. Yes, true, and their “stuff” triggers our insecurities. What happens next? Meltdown!</p><p><strong>Practical Tip</strong>: When you are tempted to take something personally, step back, give it some breathing room because most likely whatever was said or done is of their making and not yours.</p><p>Or, as my dad used to say: "<i>Diane, Nie mój cyrk.
