It is presented as a circle with numbers one to nine in a clockwise direction, nine at the top. Each number represents a personality type and is connected to two different numbers with lines that form a pattern. The two lines represent growth and stress, or integration and disintegration. It shows two sides of the coin from where we are going – positive or negative. There are a few disclaimers with using the Enneagram, though. First, one should be aware of the other types aside from theirs to better understand and communicate. Second, we know ourselves by having an overview of the different types, so we have grace and compassion for other types. The third is not to stereotype the types and use your type as an excuse.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span></p> <p class="p1"><strong>Nine Types</strong></p> <p class="p1">There are nine types of personalities in the Enneagram. Each type is assigned by number and has a name that goes with it that best describes the essence.
