4 sober years, 100 episodes, and heaps of gratitude

<p>The journey continues, it's just a new day in my life, and yet the significance of each passing year is not lost on me, nor do I anticipate that it ever will be.</p> <p>Four years sober, January 13th, 2021. And the 100th episode of this show!! In the same week!! This was totally not planned out a year ago. About 8 weeks out, when I realized this could all happen together, I began the "Back to Basics" series to move us forward on our journey while keeping a heartfelt admiration for where we have journeyed from.</p> <p>I go over some of my greatest hits in this episode:</p> <p>It's the journey NOT the destination that brings us the greatest evolution</p> <p>The Power of Yet</p> <p>The importance of the words and language patterns we use</p> <p>Beating ourselves up and getting down on ourselves is counter-productive</p> <p>Response vs Reaction</p> <p>We choose how to respond or react to the world</p> <p>Our choice is our power</p> <p>And So Many More.</p> <p>Above and Beyond I just want to thank everyone who listens to this show, those in my inner circle, second circle, and beyond. I am not sure what path I would have taken in the Fall of 2016, when I broke my leg, had you not taken the huge leap of faith and stepped into sobriety first.
