4.30: Why don't most Jews Believe that Jesus is the Messiah?

<p>Today in Romans chapter 9, the Apostle Paul answers this question. After I was <a href="https://giselleaguiar.wordpress.com/2019/10/12/still-seeking-truth-love-surviving-unemployment/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">born again</a> — 14 years ago — and started studying the Bible in a different light (with the <a href="https://giselleaguiar.wordpress.com/2019/04/26/after-the-resurrection-jesus-gift-holy-spirit/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Holy Spirit</a> as a guide), in one of my groups, we asked, “Why don’t most Jews &nbsp;believe that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah?” I couldn’t get it. We talked &nbsp;about it and we couldn’t figure it out.</p> <p>Last year, I attended the funeral of a colleague who happened to be &nbsp;Reformed Jewish. After the ceremony — which included the reading of &nbsp;several familiar Psalms — that question was hanging heavy in my heart.</p> <p>About the same time, <a href="https://giselleaguiar.wordpress.com/2019/07/05/a-colorful-mosaic-of-cultures-my-ancestry-heritage/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">I had my DNA test done through Ancestry.com and I found out that I have 1% Sephardic Jewish DNA! </a>I &nbsp;have the same DNA as Abraham and Jesus! Even before I was born again! I &nbsp;started seeing Jews and Israelites very differently. They were my kin. &nbsp;Literally. Trying to understand why the Jews didn’t recognize Jesus as &nbsp;their Messiah, the Spirit finally led me to the right New Testament &nbsp;scriptures that answered my question.
