She has been in clinical practice for sixteen years and has experience working with couples and persons practicing consensual non-monogamy, both in the Caribbean and internationally. Akilah also specializes in working with sexual minorities and racial minorities.</span></blockquote><blockquote><br></blockquote><blockquote>Akilah has presented in various spaces including the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium and the Black Mental health Symposium.
