Dr. Rectenwald became an epicenter of controversy at NYU after it was revealed that he was the man behind the Twitter account @AntiPCNYUProf , from which he sent tweets decrying the recent push for "politically correct" speech on his and many other college campuses. </p> <p>Dr. Rectenwald's journey is fascinating. He was a far left progressive commentator and upon rejecting the Democratic Party after the election of Obama was pushed even further left to become a full-fledged Marxist.
