37. The Battle of the Sabis

<p>The Nervii, fiercest of the Belgae, gather en masse to confront Caesar and his legions. Caesar races ahead to meet them. On the bank of the River Sabis the Nervii set an ambush that Caesar and his Romans walk right into. A chaotic large-scale battle ensues. Soon Caesar is forced to grab a shield and join his soldiers on the front line.
