334 Coaching Clients to Engage in Their Discomfort with Kyle Haack

<p>Brian and Kyle Haack discuss how Kyle coaches pastors to make evangelism a top priority.  One thing that is typically guaranteed is that evangelism is not a top priority.  It's uncomfortable.  It's time consuming.  It requires new orbits in the pastor's life.</p> <p>Working as a coach with Wheaton Billy Graham School of Evangelism, Kyle has learned three key lessons in his coaching:</p> <ol> <li>Focus more on the person than the activity</li> <li>Nail down the commitment</li> <li>Bring more challenge</li> </ol> <p>When it comes to reordering a client's values, just telling them to do so doesn't change anything.  You have to help the client build and stoke their own fire.  This is helped along by one-on-one coaching.</p>
