24.21: Genesis 1 and 2: The First Earth Day When God Created

<p>“In the beginning, God created.” That is the &nbsp;greatest truth — the first words of a very important book — that also &nbsp;happens to be the most read book in all of history — the Bible — the &nbsp;Word of God. Today we’re starting a series searching for Jesus through &nbsp;the Old Testament. Don’t worry, I won’t be going chapter by chapter. &nbsp;I’ll summarize some and I’ll let you read some on your own. What I want &nbsp;to highlight is where <em><strong>Jesus</strong></em> is mentioned.</p> <p>Now, you won’t find Him by name exactly in the Old Testament. His name is not revealed until <a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2020/12/01/how-to-find-hope-in-the-promise-from-god/" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Luke 1</a>. &nbsp;However, His presence is implied and alluded to in many places and &nbsp;concealed in a way that if you’re not looking for Him, you’ll miss Him &nbsp;all together....</p> <p><a href="https://giselleaguiar.com/2021/04/21/genesis-1-and-2-the-first-earth-day-when-god-created/"><em><strong>Keep reading in my blog where there are links to dig deeper….</strong></em></a></p> <p>Jesus said, “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.” ~ ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬ - This phrase is repeated 14 times in scripture. Kind of gives the idea that God wants us to pay attention.&nbsp;</p> <p>If you want to reap all the benefits of salvation including the 1-way, non-stop ticket to Heaven then…</p> <p>Believe. Repent. Be Baptized. Receive the Holy Spirit.&nbsp;</p> <p>Pray this prayer humbly and wholeheartedly…</p> <p>“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Please forgive me. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and my life to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. I surrender my whole life to you and I will follow you for the rest of my life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus' name, Amen.”</p> <p>Jesus is coming back soon!
