2023 WWC: Super Falcons destined for something special – Waldrum

<p>Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has said his team is destined for something special at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.</p>, <p>The nine-time African champions are already through to the Round of 16 at the competition.</p>, <p>Waldrum’s side were unbeaten in the group stage, with one draw and two draws in three outings.</p>, <p>It’s the first time the Super Falcons will achieve the feat at the Women’s World Cup.</p>, <p>Nigeria will take on England in the Round of 16 on Monday, August 7.</p>, <p>“I just feel like they all believe we are destined for something special at this World Cup,” Waldrum told AFP.</p>, <p>“Our journey is not over and we will be very, very well prepared for whoever we play next week.”</p>
