2023 AFCON: Super Eagles going for title in Cote d’Ivoire – Collins

<p>Super Eagles defender, Jamilu Collins, is upbeat the team can win a fourth title at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.</p>, <p>The three-time champions ended their qualifying campaign with an emphatic 6-0 victory against Sao Tome and Principe in Uyo on Sunday.</p>, <p>The West Africans were bundled out in the Round of 16 by Tunisia at the last edition of the competition in Cameroon.</p>, <p>Collins is, however, confident they can</p>, <p>conquer the rest of the continent this time around.</p>, <p>“I strongly believe we can win the trophy in Cote d’Ivoire. We started well the last time in Cameroon, but unfortunately, we couldn’t go far,” the Cardiff City star said.</p>, <p>“Next year in Cote d’Ivoire, we want things to be better. We will be aiming for the trophy and I strongly believe we can win it.”</p>, <p>The 2023 AFCON will run from January 13 to February 11, 2024.</p>
