1893: Rome talks to resume end of month

<div>The Community of Sant'Egidio says talks between government and the South Sudan Opposition Movement Alliance (SSOMA) are expected to resume at the end of this month, in Rome - Italy. <br> <br> According to officials from Sant'Egidio, the negotiations had been delayed due to unfavorable conditions in  recent weeks. The mediators were also waiting for a planned retreat of the principals in Uganda, which was indefinitely suspended last week.    <br> <br> President Salva Kiir called for the resumption of talks with the hold-out groups last year after he announced a suspension of negotiations citing alleged continued violations by the hold-out groups in the Equatorias. </div> <div> <br> Secretary general of St Egidio Paolo Impagliazzo, spoke to  Philip Wani in the following 4" interview. </div> <div><br> </div> <br> <div><br> </div>
