1865: Youth Activist Animu Athiei released from detention

<div>Youth Activist Animu Athiei has been released from detention. Animu’s lawyer Phillip Anyang confirmed that she was released on Thursday on a cash bond of $2,500. <br> <br> </div> <div>Animu was arrested late December of last year by security personnel in Juba, on allegations that she is a Ugandan National and for possessing a South Sudanese passport which was not registered.  <br> <br> </div> <div>Anyang says investigations into her case are still ongoing and she is expected to be produced before court again. <br> <br> </div> <div>Anyang says his client is not in good health and is receiving treatment.<br> <br> </div>
