#18 - The unknown consequences of the Metaverse.

<p>In todays podcast I discuss the metaverse again, this time after listening to the audiobook of Ready player one, I give a brief review of the book and talk about how it doesn't go into detail into the most interesting part of the dystopian future that VR could create, which is the physical reality of the people. I listened to this book in 3 days, and immersed myself into video games for 90% of the days of my weekends as an experiment to see what life would be like, and although we are adaptable as species and twitch streamers seem to live this way, for me it is unsustainable and I felt the consequences of that last night through nausea inducing face pain from staring at a screen and not looking after my physical body. This morning I further felt the lack of movement after attempting to jump back into my regular daily exercises and pulling all the muscles in my upper back and rips.
