1791: UN Special Representative urges leaders to prioritize electoral processes

<div>The UN Special Representative to South Sudan is urging the government to handle the formation of the transitional national constitution and planned elections as a matter of urgency.  <br> <br> </div> <div>Nicholas Haysom told participants at the ongoing governors forum in Juba that building effective political systems requires the collective will of the country’s leaders. <br> <br> </div> <div>Mr. Haysom also urged the country’s leaders to urgently complete the formation of a coherent command structure of the security forces. <br> <br> </div>
