1758: African Resource Cooperation drivers go on strike

<div>About three hundred (300) drivers working for African Resource Cooperation -ARC construction Company have gone on strike demanding for a better working environment.<br> <br> </div> <div>Truck drivers in Mangala, working on Bor Highway are complaining of low salaries, and poor working conditions.<br> <br> </div> <div>Some of them claimed that soldiers have been deployed to beat them up and push them out of the compound after staging a strike this morning.<br> <br> </div> <div>One of the drivers who chose to remain anonymous says, drivers do not have contracts and are not supported by the company when they get into problems while at work.<br> <br> </div>
