Description
Worrying gets a bad rap for good reason. Constant worrying can tax your adrenals, increase your blood pressure, and essentially keep you in chronic flight or fight leaving, you exhausted. As human beings we are not designed to live in this sympathetic state 24/7. However, there is a reason why a stress response and negative emotions exist. Crappy things happen in life. You have bad days. Shitty weeks. Or, there are events that trigger our nervous system's stress response. It's our primal brain's way of keeping us "safe" in a situation your unconscious mind views as a threat to you. There are times to lean into the worry. There are times to honor our nervous system's response. It's important to acknowledge what you feel. No one has the same response. It's time to partner with your nervous systems, instead of shaming or criticizing yourself because you FEEL a certain way. In this episode I give you permission to express gratitude and appreciation for your worrying state. To have compassion for yourself on the days when you worry excessively. And, when appropriate, in this episode you will also learn how to heal the constant worry so you can live life more fully. When you learn how to feel your worry, instead of pushing it away, you will also learn how to feel happiness and joy. Listen to this episode to fully embrace life and show up as your truest self today. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ignite-ur-wellness/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/ignite-ur-wellness/support
