The miracle is not just that God showed up, but also that God showed up in a little struggling family unsure of how they'd make ends meet. God showed up to low wage workers that felt like they would never get ahead as they lay counting their sheep. God showed up in a weird family where it was hard to kind of explain how everyone was related but they all just kind of made it work. God showed up in a small town that no one in the big city would have heard about much less thought about.
