11 killed in Beijing floods

Authorities in China say 11 people have been killed following intense rainfall in Beijing. Niger's military has detained several senior politicians after it seized power last week. And Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says Palestinian factions have agreed to begin a new reconciliation process.
