Father keep us from idols, from the sin that so easily ensnares us, and fix our gaze fully on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Lord, we set our goals in you, seeking you first, asking you to direct our paths, and letting the old ways fade to find a new version of us in you. Help us spot the traps of bad habits, negative thinking and caring way too much about what other people think. We know and trust that you will do a new thing in us if our hearts are obedient to you.
