104: How to Trust Yourself to Follow Through

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;">How much do you trust yourself to follow through on what you say you're going to do?</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;">Do you trust yourself to make good choices?</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;">Do you trust yourself to make good choices not only for the present moment, but for your future self? The one who has already achieved your goals?</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;">The theme of trust or the lack of trust pops up a lot when I coach lawyers. The typical non-lawyer might think that we have it all together, that we of course trust ourselves to accomplish what we have in life so far.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;">I see a different side of things. When I talk to lawyers, I see lawyers who have taught themselves not to trust themselves by how they behave in the world.
