030: What Does Financial Freedom Actually Mean?

<p><strong>What's does Financial Freedom mean to you?</strong></p> <p><br /> Doesn't "financial freedom" have a nice ring to it? What does it mean?</p> <p>When I first started writing my financial blog, I thought that financial freedom meant financial independence.</p> <p>I was wrong. In fact, financial freedom is an open-ended term that means something different to everyone.</p> <p>It's a place where you as an individual no longer feel like you're controlled by money and you're free to express yourself fully.</p> <p>This could mean earning a great salary. Or, it could mean saving up a large emergency fund. For others, it could mean full financial independence.
