Witnessing the Rensselaer County Jail Rally

October 15 more than 16 organizations supported the Rally and march to the Rensselaer County Jail. The scores of participants were there to demand the release of immigrants detained there, an end to oppressive detention conditions, and the permanent termination of the facility's contract with ICE. They gathered to support the detained "Ms. Q" who is at risk while awaiting the outcome of her immigration case, and to bare witness to the brutality and her medical neglect perpetrated by Sheriff Russo's Correction proxies for ICE.
