With Interest Rates Going Up, Will Bankers Have Real Conversations With Home Buyers?

<p><strong>I wanted to have a discussion about something that bugs me now that interest rates are going up. Will bankers and their high sales goals run the red light and still try to oversell clients into buying a home even if they aren't in an advantageous position to buy one? It was easy to sell home loans at BofA in 2016 when I bought my home at a 3.5% posted rate, even though my wife and I didn't get that rate.
