<p>Why does God take pleasure in our prosperity?</p><p>Ps 35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the <em>Lord</em> be magnified, who <em>has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”</em></p><p>Ps 66:12 (Har) <em>you</em> brought us out to <em>abundant prosperity </em></p><p>Deut 28:11 (RSV) the <em>Lord </em>will make you <em>abound in prosperity</em></p><p>Jer 29:11 (net<em>) I have plans to prosper you</em></p><p>1. Blessed to be a blessing - Our giving helps to bring His freedom</p><p>Gen 12:2 I will bless you [abundantly], And make your name great (exalted, distinguished); And you shall be a blessing [a source of great good to others]</p><p>Gal 3:13-14,18 Christ has redeemed us from the curse 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 18 The inheritance is by promise.</p><ul><li>Lord, make me a blessing - Our giving allows us to experience people’s lives being changed right in front of our eyes every week </li></ul><p>Acts 10:38 God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power He went about doing good (deeds, kind service, philanthropy) and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.</p><p><br/></p><p>2.
