There are eternal consequences when we continually live in unrepented sin! We cannot say that we are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, but then don't do what He commands us to do! Oh! He was clear about what it means to be a follower of His in Matthew 16:24! Therefore, we will be looking at the consequences of sin! The ultimate—and severest—consequence of sin is DEATH! The Bible is clear that the wages of sin is death, according to Romans 6:23. The Bible also tells us that we will reap what we sow, that if we sow to the flesh, from the flesh we will reap destruction (see Galatians 6:8)! GOD WILL NEVER OVERLOOK SIN! Especially not after what Jesus Christ has done on our behalf at the cross! He will not tolerate anyone trampling over the precious shed blood of Jesus (see Hebrews 10), who washes away our sins! The consequence of suppressing the truth is that God gives the sinner over to a reprobate mind (see Romans 1:28)! That is something you do not want to have happen in your life!
