UCL: It was a narrow escape – Ten Hag speaks on 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen

<p>Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag has admitted that they were lucky to defeat FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday night.</p>, <p>The Red Devils claimed their first win this season with a 1-0 result, thanks to Harry Maguire’s header.</p>, <p>United however had Andre Onana to thank after he saved Jordan Larsson’s late penalty.</p>, <p>Ten Hag, speaking to TNT Sports after the game, said: “Of course it is incredible and a great night. Especially in the dying second when you concede a penalty, but a brilliant save from Andre Onana.</p>, <p>“Those players, Harry Maguire played a good game and Andre Onana as well. He had an important save just after half-time. We should have got a penalty on Marcus Rashford and I do not know why it was not a penalty.</p>, <p>“It was onside, but he did not give a penalty. Finally we dealt with it and it is a step up. Few weeks ago we got out of rhythm from the referee’s decisions.</p>, <p>“A poor first-half, but we stayed calm and in the second-half we stepped up and made more chances than them. It was a narrow escape in the end.”</p>
