And God has appointed Him as Judge on the Day He returns to judge the inhabited world in righteousness. Christ Jesus tells us in Luke 13:2-3, "Jesus replied to them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans because they have suffered in this way? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish." 🚨 God commands all men everywhere to repent! He has set a Day of JUDGMENT in which, through Christ Jesus, He will judge the inhabited world in righteousness! (Study Acts 17:30-31). In His tarrying, He is giving us time to repent and come to Christ; that through His shed blood, we can have forgiveness for our sins! Beloved, we see in Romans 2:16, "On that day when, as my gospel proclaims, God will judge the secrets [all the hidden thoughts and concealed sins] of men through Christ Jesus." With that being said, this is not the hour to live hypocritical lives - judging others for sin, but we ourselves are in the same sin(s)! We cannot be in ministry, serving as beacons of light to the Body of Christ and woefully live lives characterized by sin! By God's grace, we have been saved! God has made a way for sinners to be made right with Him when they put their faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior! Going forward, we live obedient lives as we are led by His Holy Spirit unto righteousness!
