Go Forward by Forgetting Your Past Mistakes as a Sinner </p><p>Is 43:18 (nlt) Do not remember the things that have happened before. Do not think about the things of the past. 19 See, I will do a new thing. It will begin happening now. 25 I—yes, I alone—will blot out your sins for my own sake and will never think of them again</p><p>1 Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness</p><ul><li>God is faithful to forgive and to forget, we must be the same   </li></ul><p><br/></p><p>2. Go Forward by Forgetting Your Mistakes as a Christian </p><p>Phil 3:13 (nlt) I focus on one thing: <em>Forgetting</em> the past </p><ul><li>Paul did not just say forget but he said forgetting</li></ul><p>Ps 32:5 (nlt) Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, &quot;I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.&quot; And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone</p><ul><li>Going forward in forgiveness moves shame and guilt from our hear</li></ul><p>Ps 51:2,7-8,10-13   Wash away all cleanse me from my sin. 7 Cleanse me and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.  8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have (Sin) crushed rejoice.  10 Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. 13 <em>Then I will teach transgressors your ways</em></p><ul><li>Going forward in forgiveness restores the joy of God’s presence and releases men into divine purpose </li></ul><p>Phil 3:14 (nlt) I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ, is calling us</p><p>Jn 5:14 You’ve been healed.
