While reports show a healthy economy right now, millions of Americans feel anxious about their financial prospects. Older Americans worry that AI may soon replace them. Meanwhile, some young people feel a sense of “perma-pessimism” after living through two recessions since 2007. These concerns, of course, may shape political choices in 2024.
