Abdullah Ibn Masood (ra) - Session 68 The Son of The Mother of The Servant The Jurist of This Ummah The Master of The Secrets Amulets (Taweez) are what are hung before the descending of affliction, what is hung after it is not an amulet (Haakim). Verily Ruqyahs (incantations) amulets and tiwalah (love charms) are Shirk (Abu Dawood). A section of our glorious predecessors prohibited the use of Quranic Taweez.
